What to expect after surgery
Swelling and bruising are often most noticeable early and improve gradually. Many patients plan around two weeks for initial recovery, while lower-lid contours may continue to mature for several months.
Recovery guidance is individualized. Call promptly about concerning changes such as worsening pain, vision changes, rapidly increasing swelling, or difficulty closing the eye; severe or sudden symptoms may require emergency care.
